Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University is one of the most prominent medical institute of the world and it also the first and only Medical University in Bangladesh. It is a public Medical University, established in 1999. The University offers MD, PhD, MS, MPhil, MDS, Diploma and FCPS Courses.

On September 12, 2013 the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) has been published a notice regarding job vacancies for senior staff nurse. Total vacancies for senior staff nurse at BSMMU are 200. The application deadline for the post is September 29, 2013. A non refundable Pay order or Bank draft for taka 500 is required for application.
