The
Islamic University is a public university/ public general university in
Bangladesh which is financially aided by the Organisation of the Islamic
Conference (OIC). It is one of the major
public universities in Bangladesh and the largest seat of higher education in
the south-west part of the green country Bangladesh. It was formed in 1985 in
Kushtia district of Bangladesh under the Islamic University Act of 1980 to
promote the Islamic system of education in the country. It is a major
international center for an excellent integration of Islamic Studies with the
General Studies and Studies of Modern Science and Technology as well.
