Cadet Colleges are specialized
autonomous residential institutions that impart an all-round education to the
young learners of the junior secondary, secondary and higher secondary levels
following the English version National Curricula prescribed by the National
Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). The Cadet colleges of Bangladesh have become a unique institution. In Cadet
Colleges each academic year consists of three terms. Cadets are graded based on
the result of fortnightly and term end exam.
Since its birth, the Cadet
colleges are improving day by day. The excellent result of all the cadet
colleges in all education board caught the eye of the guardians and they are
inspired to send their kids to Cadet
College. This overall
success is the culminating result of the dedication of cadets, sound academic
environment and proper supervision.
There are 12 (twelve) Cadet
Colleges in Bangladesh from
which 9 (nine) colleges for boys and the rest 3 (three) is for girls student.

Assessment of Academic Performance
of Cadet Colleges, Bangladesh:
The Assessment of a Cadet’s
academic performance is made after the Board’s standard. However, for internal
examinations, Cadet Colleges merge the ‘D’ grade of national standard into ‘F’
grade, increasing the minimum required score to pass up to 40. Thus, the
